All About


I have wanted to write something for so long now.  SOMETHING, but I didn't know what.  Let's just say 2016 was not my year (twas shit), and it brought up a lot of  topics/themes and it was just too overwhelming to write it all down.  I couldn’t find anywhere to begin.  So I’ve decided to start this blog, the ABCs of life.  Each post will focus on a different letter of the alphabet and force me to first, get creative with synonyms and alliteration, but second, to focus on one topic at a time so that I don’t get overwhelmed.  Some will be serious, some will be silly, some will be long, some will be less lengthy, you get the point.  If I reach z (which I plan to) I'll either start over or come up with some fun new way to keep myself on track.  If no one ever reads this that is fine too, but I hope some of the topics I touch upon will be useful or amusing to at least one person out there.  And as I brainstorm, I realize that a lot of the things that I wanted to write about that came up last year I actually don't feel like sharing now, but I enjoy the idea of this blog so I am going to find things to write about anyways.

So onto the A

ABOUT
Let us begin with a little about me section.  I am a 20 year old jockey (horse racing).  I grew up in a military family so I moved around the US a lot(CA->WA->OH->WA->CA->NH->CA->PA).  I currently live in Pennsylvania. 5'4", 100 lb, eyes of yet to be agreed upon color, brown hair, owner of a calico kitten, still miss my Bernese Mountain Dog that I had for 12 years, 2 sisters, I’m the middle one, ice cream is my weakness, I think star wars is the bomb diggty, and HUGE gym rat and nutrition enthusiast-so there will most likely be many posts in that genre (might get its own blog eventually if I have any success with this one, but I can guarantee that M will be for macros).  Lets see what else, I refuse to touch butter while cooking I think its gross, I cant stand the hairy part of artichokes, I volunteer at a dog shelter, hablo espanol, and I WILL travel the world.  Ok that's enough.

Wasn’t that fun? Don’t you feel like you know me already?  Don’t worry, if it truly matters to you, you will get to know more about me as we go forth on this wonderful alphabetic journey together.


And I LOVE stupid puns so every post will end with one that somehow I decide relates, be it fits the alphabet letter of the day or the topic, sorry not sorry.

Here’s a fun little post for you. Farewell Facebook

First off, this will clearly be the last post I share on Facebook, so if you are enjoying my writing, feel free to subscribe :) Second, yes I am very aware that I skipped E, I'll fix it later but I really wanted to write F and it’s my blog so you don’t get to tell me what to do.  I shall not lie I also am getting a bit of joy out of messing with all you OCD people until I write E! Third, I'm very irritated that the Lord of the Rings There and Back Again font letter F looks a lot more like the letter E, but I guess I have to accept their artistic font choices and move on with life. So here it is: I am saying farewell to Facebook. Forever?
